Very aggravating and disappointing experience! When arriving to pick up my vehicle, I asked to use the facilities. Disgusting! No toilet ppr, the toiletSEAT had splashes of feces and the garbage looked like it hadn’t been emptied in at least a week. Moving on, I was asked to check the vehicles body for any damages or knicks. This was very hard to see because the truck just got finished being “cleaned” so it was wet. It was extremely difficult to see any imperfections like this. I did the best I could so I could just get on my way. Entering the vehicle, I can tell you it was far from clean! It looked as if the same cloth used to wax a car was used for the windshield, dash, windows, all the chrome, etc. There was a smell and dog hair on the seats. Unacceptable conditions for a $80.00 a day rental!
What a inconvenient, disappointing and far from cheap experience! I will no longer go back to that location or use enterprise at all!
Staff good. Vehicle, 1 star. Vehicle has been used by a heavy smoker. The odor gave me a headache and I was getting a sore throat driving the car for ten minutes. I got a bottle of Frebreeze and soaked the inside of the car so I could leave on an early morning trip. Now, it smells like a cheap motel room where spray has been used to mask smoke odor. The car should have been pulled from service cleaned and the previous customer charged. My wife used Enterprise for ten years in her business and never had an experience like this. If I had not been in a position where I would have to leave early on Saturday, I would have been waiting to exchange vehicles. This will be discussed when I return from Athens, Ohio on Monday.
The team here is awesome. Our business rates about two times a month, and they consistently offer great customer service and value. I think of this location as an extension of my small business office. Big thanks to Michael today for making a short notice rental work. My gratitude to this team.
We needed a comfortable vehicle with enough room to move our daughters in to college because my truck was hit from behind while stopped at a light. USAA authorized a Premium SUV for $40/day for 30 days. We got to the Enterprise at 7:35 AM and saw that the Buick Enclave was in the lot waiting for us. Only problem was the jerk who rented it for one day and dropped it off the previous evening forgot one very important item. THE KEYS! We waited around for close to one hour while the Enterprise reps tracked this moron down who refused to answer the phone when they called him. Finally at close to 8:30 he drives up and has his kid bring in the keys. Not a word of apology for being a dumb a**. Enterprise reps were kind and helpful. I will definitely be going back when we need another rental! The vehicle was brand new, but I was not appreciative of the fact that the oil life was at 6% when we got it and by the time I took it back a month later the oil life was 0% and my gas mileage was nowhere close to what Buick states for that vehicle. I also had to apply Rain-X to all the glass. When it rained the visibility was horrific. For safety reasons alone all Enterprise locations should do this

After taking the truck for the afternoon, I decided I no longer wanted to pay for the vehicle the second day as I originally planned. I tried calling that office SIX TIMES using all different prompts just desperate to reach this guy and ask him when I can bring back the truck! I had to call the 800 number to ask if they could reach someone at the Matthews office. I was transferred to the manager who is responsible for that area and she was able to get this guy to finally pick up! When I expressed my disappointments and aggravation to this individual, his response was simply “ok”. No apologies or concerns that I was dissatisfied with the service. Smh. Unbelievable!
Team at this location was awesome. I have rented their twice in the last month and each time the folks there went out of their way to be professional, courteous and friendly. Please take note of the staff that you have at this location as of October/November 2017 - they are very good and your company should aspire to have every location be as good as this one.
