Rude + 30min-1hr hold time for no answers!!!! They need a complete system and new employees makeover at the corporate level. Family Dollar Corporate Office employees better hope I'm never put in charge of fixing the issues. Drain the swamp as Trump would say.
After many years shopping in this store, I have never been treated so badly like today. Family Dollar in key West has holidays hours which says open at 8am, I even checked online and it says 8am. So after waiting hour up front of the store and letting manager know that their hours says 8am, he started arguing with me and keep saying no. Then he smoke cigarette and even it was already 9am he locked the door right up front of me
Wanted to return an item that worked for a good 5 seconds then stopped. Knew it wasn't the batteries, they were new. First I was told that you can only return 2 items a month. This was the 2nd item that didn't work or was broke & was purchased on the same receipt. Next, we can't give you a refund because the item has been opened. That's the only way to know if it worked.... 3rd, you can't get a refund because it's a mark down. I didn't see anything, nor could the young lady present anything stating such. I paid cash and i wanted cash to be returned to me. DIDN'T happen. I called corporate and I'm guessing that the holding limit was 1 hour because i was disconnected. NOT by my choice. Oh, I was told that I can get a store credit. Burn me once and I'm done..... SHOPPERS BEWARE
I shop at the new store located in Monroe,LA in the Swartz area. Store 11930 is what it says online when i looked it up. I would just like to say there is a young lady that work's there and her name is Brenda, she is one of the best people you can ever meet. She greets everyone not some but everyone that walks through the door she is always smiling and when she check you out she always tell you to have a blessed day and to be safe. You can't find a better customer service lady she is the best me and a lot of people have expressed this many times she is the best employee i have seen in family dollar she desdeserve to be recognized for the good work she does. She is so helpful as well. I told her i was going to call and let you guys know she is the best .
all their heaters are pre-opened and when you return it they claim they cant return for your money because a damned sticker. only exchange for the same exact thing. this is not what their return policy states online. so they're scammers! buy instead less at $25 for better heaters from amazon!
