This place is like a step back in time. From the floor-to-ceiling jars filled with vegetable seeds, to the old cast iron stove used on cold days, to the aisles teeming with tools, and every kind of nut, bolt or screw you could muster up, Renfrow Hardware is the spot to explore the next time you are in Matthews, NC. The vibe is old school, but the folks at Renfrow have the latest and greatest in the arena of hardware. Their customer service is the best, as they want their customers to succeed in whatever project they may be working on. Even if you're not a tool person, this place is worth a visit. You'll feel right at home.

Like stepping back in time... Renfrow's has a little bit of everything, and other things you'll never find anywhere else. One of my favorite hardware stores.
A solid selection of NATIVE plants. Refreshing to see for sure. A wide selection of herbs and veggies. They are all at a reasonable price.
Love this place. Been coming for years! They have ducks, eggs, and in March they sell Praying Mantis eggs and live ladybugs. It's a family tradition since we moved here in 04'! Everyone is uber nice and helpful, they are one of the reasons why we just love our LITTLE town and always support the local businesses!
